If I could propose a law
If I pass a law it would be to give teen mothers more rights to their children. Why, because they are the ones that usually care about the most. When you think about a teen mother you picture a child with a child, but it's most cases it is a grown woman in a little girl's body. All because she more and likely was abused as child and had to grow up fast. She looked for love in all the wrong places, for example: older men, other families that might have abusive backgrounds. Some even look to the streets for support; example: drugs, sex, and self harm. All of this is sometimes because the state has taken the teen mother's rights away because of her background. They really need to stop and give all teen mothers a chance to change and grow.

Mandy,
ReplyDeleteThank you for this post-- it's given me a lot to think about. Do you plan to design your game around this issue? It could be an amazing opportunity for you to advocate for the rights of teen mothers.
Mandy,
ReplyDeleteThis was a post that really made me think. I do believe most of us think of teenage mothers as babies having babies. We almost never consider what a teenage mother has gone through or what she is capable of doing. So can anyone give Mandy any ideas on how to create a game to promote the rights of teenage mothers?
